All the good stuff in it

    Daily Essentials for Males (x2)
Sperm do their best when they gear up for game time early. Get ready with Vitamins A, C and E, Zinc and Selenium to help boost sperm count, motility and morphology. Meanwhile a hybrid of Folic Acid and Methylated Folate (5-MTHF, the active form of Folic Acid) along with Vitamin B12 and Choline do their part to defend against DNA damage.
    Algae Oil DHA (Omega-3) (x1)
Every cell in your body needs this Omega-3 Fatty Acid, but it’s not something you produce naturally and many diets fall short. Low DHA intake tends to mean lower sperm counts and motility. It’s also essential for sperm’s mechanism to fertilize an egg. Our DHA comes from algae oil so there’s no fishy aftertaste.

What you may be asking yourself right now

Why should people with sperm take prenatals?
It is always recommended for people with sperm to take prenatals if they are trying to conceive at any age! Sperm are known to be fast swimmers, but they need essential nutrients to be able to make their way to the egg safely and fertilise it. The Prenatal Essentials for Males helps boost your count, enhance sperm motility and morphology, and provide protection from DNA damage.
What’s different about The Prenatal Essentials for Males?
Each prenatal pack includes three capsules: two Male Daily Essentials and one vegan DHA. The Prenatal Essentials for Males formula offers high-quality ingredients that are bioavailable, or ready for your body to use, at just the right dosage recommended by our doctors.
When should I start taking these supplements?
Sperm can take up to three months to fully mature, which is why it is safe (and even recommended!) to take these prenatals at least three months before trying to conceive (TTC). You can take these supplements daily as you try to conceive, and safely stop taking them once pregnancy is confirmed (though if you’re feeling good, this formula is a great way to continue getting your daily dose of nutrients indefinitely)!
What’s the difference between The Prenatal Essentials for Males and The Power Prenatal for Males?
The Prenatal Essentials for Males and The Power Prenatal for Males share the same foundation of essential nutrients needed to optimize pregnancy outcomes:
    • Vitamins A, B12, C, E
    • A hybrid of Folic Acid and Methylated Folate (5-MTHF)
    • Selenium
    • Zinc
    • Choline
    • Vegan DHA

What’s different about The Power Prenatal for Males is that this formula gives your sperm an extra dose of lovin’ if you want to further support your swimmers. The Power Prenatal for Males will give you a boost of CoQ10 (Coenzyme Q10), NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine), Trans-Resveratrol and other antioxidants to provide your sperm cells with the fuel they need to perform optimally.

Why does this product say ‘for Males’ instead of ‘for men’?

However you identify, our products are named for your biology, not your gender. The Prenatal Essentials for Males is inclusive of all individuals who are trying or preparing to conceive.

Have a specific question about our products? Please send us a message at hello@birdandbe.com and we will be happy to help you find the right products for you and/or your partner.

Can I take them all at once?
Yes! It is safe to take them all at once, after a meal, and three hours before or after other medication. In the morning, afternoon or at night.
Is The Prenatal Essentials for Males vegan?
Yes! The Prenatal Essentials for Males is vegan.
What does B12 do and why do I need so much?
You might’ve noticed that our formula’s 500 mcg of Vitamin B12 is well above the amount that’s typically recommended per day in a multivitamin. But there are good reasons for that! First, it’s important to understand how crucial B12 is for sperm production and the male reproductive organs. Along with its better-known counterpart Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 helps keep homocysteine from building up. That’s crucial because high levels of homocysteine have been linked to poor sperm quality, low sperm count, reduced motility and higher DNA fragmentation. This can often result in longer times to conception and early pregnancy loss.

Unfortunately, it can be hard for your body to get enough B12 without a little help. In your diet, you can only get it from animal products, and your absorption can be affected by certain autoimmune conditions or even just taking antacids.

Because it’s so critical for sperm DNA replication, it’s important to cover your B12 bases with a prenatal supplement. Sperm reproduce every three months, so you’ll want to give them a steady supply of B12 while they’re regenerating. There’s no set upper limit for Vitamin B12 nor is there an established toxic level, but optimal levels need to be much higher than the recommended daily allowance in order to have a therapeutic effect on sperm quality. That’s why we pack 500 mcg of a bioavailable form of Vitamin B12 called Methylcobalamin in The Prenatal Essentials for Males and The Power Prenatal for Males. I highly recommend Bird&Be prenatal supplements to all my patients who are trying to conceive. They provide a personalized and convenient approach, which makes their prenatals more efficient and enhances patient compliance.

I'm thrilled for patients to be able to access higher and more effective doses of key ingredients than I've seen in other prenatals - three cheers for choline and CoQ10!

Having an evidence-based approach to fertility-focused supplements is a key component to optimizing success, and it’s great that Bird&Be’s scientifically-backed prenatals are accessible to everyone, regardless of whether they’re seeing a fertility specialist.

Bird&Be has hit all the right marks for prenatal and preconception care. They’ve removed the guesswork from patients' supplement regimes, while emphasizing dose education and including usable, active ingredient forms.

Personalizing the formulas based on the individual's needs makes Bird&Be's supplements much more effective, especially for those who require a much more intensive regimen to support conception.

I discovered Bird&Be after having a missed miscarriage that i found out about at 12 weeks with my first pregnancy. As a biologist who is used to approaching problems in my professional life by searching for data driven solutions, my way of dealing with it was to dive deep into researching whether there was anything I could do to increase the speed at which I got pregnant again (it took us 9 months the first time), and to reduce the likelihood of chromosomal abnormalities, which id learned are the most frequent cause of first trimester miscarriages. I wound up stumbling upon "it starts with the egg" by Rebecca Fett and learned that so much of the fate of a pregnancy is based on processes that take place in the development of eggs and sperm up to 3 months before conception, and having enough of certain nutrients can help ensure everything develops properly. Bird&Be's approach is largely informed by the research reviewed in this book, so I decided to give the Power Prenatal a try. After 4 months I was pregnant again. I am now 16 weeks pregnant and have switched over to the Prenatal Essentials. Everything suggests that this pregnancy is progressing well and baby and I are healthy. My doctor commented on my excellent iron levels during my first trimester blood work, which i suspect i have the prenatal at least partially to thank for because despite my desire to get as many nutrients as i could from my diet, at that point the only food i could stomach was yogurt, fruit, and salt and vinegar chips! It's impossible to know for sure how much my choice of prenatals influenced the positive outcomes so far with this pregnancy, but I feel better knowing that I took steps that were within my power to improve my likelihood of having a healthy pregnancy, and it's validating that things are going well.

    Amazing product and service!

I ordered them for my daughter in law. They have everything you need. They best part is her journey is a very difficult one and the response to my email asking what I should order was so fast and so caring and guided us correctly. But also they made sure we checked with her doctor. He was very impressed with the vitamins. She never had an upset stomach as most prenatal ones caused issues. She had energy and appetite. Unfortunately our journey has not ended the way we wanted but these vitamins have been amazing. And we will use them again. This company truly cares about what men and women have to deal with during these difficult journeys. I highly recommend
