How to read your results

What those lines mean

First things first

You’ll want to make sure there’s a colored C (control) line—that’s how you know the test was performed properly. If you don’t see one, the test is invalid and you should repeat with a new test strip. If the test still fails, please contact Bird&Be with the lot number.

Next, compare the T (test) line against the included Color Reference Chart. The numbers accompanying each shade on the chart indicate various FSH levels. Match the shade of your T line with the nearest color in the chart.

Normal Results:
Less than 10 mIU/mL suggests a normal FSH level.

Elevated Results:
Between 10 mIU/mL and 25 mIU/mL suggests a risk of low ovarian reserve.

High Results:
Over 25 mIU/mL indicates you may be transitioning into menopause (or have already for levels over 50 mIU/mL)

What should I do after taking the test?

Because hormones can vary, we recommend taking the test several times (on days 3, 4, and 5 over 2 cycles). If the majority are showing elevated or high FSH levels, check in with your doctor for diagnostic testing.
