Success Stories

"I like that the label is discreet and classy, and that it's a squeeze bottle instead of an ointment tube."

"I bought this because it had the least-objectionable packaging of all the fertility-friendly lubes. I like that it's subtle - it's not packaged like a medical ointment, and it doesn't have big text about babies or conception. Keeping TTC fun is hard enough as it is and a lot of other products don't exactly help with that. I like that the label is discreet and classy, and that it's a squeeze bottle instead of an ointment tube."

Success Stories

"It doesn't look like a clinical medical ointment, which really helps keep the romance alive during a stressful time.""

"Standard lubricants were out of the question because they can damage sperm, so finding a sperm-safe option was critical. What I love most about this product is the texture—it is silky, completely non-sticky, and feels incredibly natural. As a bonus, the packaging is beautifully discreet. It doesn't look like a clinical medical ointment, which really helps keep the romance alive during a stressful time."

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need a fertility-friendly lubricant?

Many standard lubricants can harm sperm by affecting their motility or creating an unfavorable environment. Power Play is specifically formulated to be a sperm-friendly lubricant, mimicking cervical mucus and maintaining the optimal pH for sperm survival and movement. It keeps things smooth and comfortable without interfering with—and even enhancing—your chances of conceiving.

Is Power Play safe for trying to conceive (TTC)?

Yes! Power Play is FDA-cleared as a Class II medical device and clinically tested to ensure it does not interfere with sperm motility. It’s designed with fertility in mind, is doctor-recommended, and is safe to use during your fertile window (ovulation) and throughout your TTC journey, whether you are trying at home or with the support of a fertility clinic.

What makes Power Play different from regular lubricants?

Unlike other lubricants, Power Play Lube won’t harm sperm health or motility. And unlike other fertility-friendly lubricants, Power Play Lube goes a step further and actually supports sperm motility, making it even easier for sperm to reach and fertilize the egg. It’s also clinically tested and twice the size of other fertility-focused lubricants.

Is Power Play Lube doctor-recommended?

Yes. Power Play was developed with doctors and fertility experts and is recommended by healthcare providers for couples trying to conceive.

Does Power Play Lube feel different than other lubricants?

Power Play is a water-based, non-staining, and fragrance-free lubricant with a smooth, natural feel. It’s designed to relieve vaginal dryness and support friction-free intimacy, especially during conception-focused sex.

How do I use Power Play Lube?

Apply the desired amount to the genital area. You can reapply as needed. It's safe for daily use and can be used whenever you want additional comfort—whether you’re trying to conceive or not.

Is Power Play Lube compatible with condoms?

Yes, Power Play is compatible with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms. It is not compatible with polyurethane condoms.

Can I use this during IUI or other fertility treatments?

Power Play is compatible with sperm, oocytes, and embryos, making it suitable for use whether you’re trying to conceive at home or with the help of a fertility clinic.

Does it contain any spermicide?

No. Power Play does not contain spermicide. It is designed to be gentle and supportive of sperm health.

Can I use this even if I’m not actively trying to conceive?

Absolutely! While Power Play is optimized for conception, it’s also perfect for anyone seeking a non-toxic, high-quality, non-staining lube that supports vaginal comfort and moisture, without compromising reproductive health.

I’m sensitive down there—will this irritate me?

Power Play Lube was clinically tested for both vaginal and penile use and is formulated to be gentle, even for sensitive skin. We understand how important comfort is, and this product was specifically designed with that in mind.

Game changer for the TTC journey!"My partner and I bought the Bird&Be Power Play Lubricant to help deal with the dryness that comes with timed intercourse while trying to conceive. Standard lubricants were out of the question because they can damage sperm, so finding a sperm-safe option was critical. What I love most about this product is the texture—it is silky, completely non-sticky, and feels incredibly natural. As a bonus, the packaging is beautifully discreet. It doesn't look like a clinical medical ointment, which really helps keep the romance alive during a stressful time. The only downside is that it is slightly pricier upfront than regular drugstore lubes, but you get a 4 oz bottle which is twice the size of most other fertility lubes on the market. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing it supports sperm motility instead of blocking it!"

Good!

I bought this because it had the least-objectionable packaging of all the fertility-friendly lubes. I like that it's subtle - it's not packaged like a medical ointment, and it doesn't have big text about babies or conception. Keeping TTC fun is hard enough as it is and a lot of other products don't exactly help with that. I like that the label is discreet and classy, and that it's a squeeze bottle instead of an ointment tube.

As far as the product itself, it's pretty good! The texture is effective and it doesn't leave a sticky residue. It dries out quicker than traditional lubricants, but that is a universal problem in the fertility-friendly lubricant space. When we use it, we often need two or three applications, but that's not so bad. Overall, I've been very satisfied with this product.
