FAQs

  • What should I eat when trying to conceive?

Focus on a Mediterranean diet when trying to conceive—think Omega-3 fatty acids, eggs, and berries, alongside lots of vegetables and lean protein. A high-quality prenatal vitamin can help supplement any nutritional gaps and prep your body for pregnancy with important nutrients. Here’s more on the top 5 foods for your fertility diet.

  • When is the best time to try and conceive?

If you’re having sex to try to get pregnant, knowing when you ovulate is key to trying to conceive. Use an OPK (ovulation predictor kit) to track your LH. When it surges (usually about 14 days before your next period), you’ll get a positive ovulation test and know it’s time to try.

  • When should I take a pregnancy test?

The ideal time to take an at-home pregnancy test to get the most accurate results is the day after your expected period. But we know that the two weeks between trying and your period can feel extra long. That’s why we created our Early Results Pregnancy Tests, which can detect the pregnancy hormone, hCG, up to 5 days before your expected period.

  • What are some common signs of pregnancy?

The biggest sign of pregnancy? A missed period. But if you’re looking for more indicators that you might be expecting, pregnancy symptoms like fatigue, nausea, breast tenderness, and a positive at-home pregnancy test are all early signs. Read more.
