• How soon after embryo transfer can I take a pregnancy test?

  It depends on your transfer type. If you transferred a blastocyst (day 5 to 7 embryo), you could test as early as 7 days post-transfer. Day-3 transfers may take a couple days longer. For the full day-by-day breakdown, see our embryo transfer guide.

• Can a pregnancy test give a false positive after embryo transfer?

  Yes, if your protocol included a trigger shot, since it contains hCG that can linger in your system for up to 14 days. Testing before then may detect leftover trigger, not a new pregnancy. Your clinic's beta blood test remains the most reliable confirmation.

• Should I keep taking my prenatal after embryo transfer?

  Yes. Once you're done with retrieval and into transfer, we recommend switching to the Complete Prenatal Pack, which preps your body with Folic Acid, Iron, and DHA for the possibility of pregnancy ahead.

• What's the reusable collection cup for?

  It's a small silicone cup for collecting a urine sample during testing. It's reusable and collapsible, easy to clean, and sized so your test strip can rest on top while you wait for a result. Handy if you plan to test more than once.

• How many pregnancy tests will I need during the two-week wait?

  It depends on your testing style. If you plan to test just once around Beta day, one pack of 5 may be enough. If you'd rather test every day or two starting a week post-transfer, our 2-pack or bulk box gives you room to retest.
